Talk about a doctor on the move. For nearly four decades – from Guatemala to Uganda and points in between, Dr. Jerry Paccione Jr. has been a galvanizing force in promoting global health.

His drive to treat patients in remote areas where health care is extremely limited has resulted in one of Einstein’s most vibrant programs – the Kisoro, Uganda “campus” of the Global Health Center (GHC). Over the past 30-plus years, GH Fellowship Program has provided training opportunities in more than 15 countries for medical students and fellows interested in the health challenges and social issues that intersect in the global health environment.
