The Doctor’s Tablet Wins Prestigious Blog Award!

Excitigold trophy outdoors with light shining from behindng news to share! Calling its combination of faculty, student and staff blog posts a “clear winner,” the judges of the 2015 Nonprofit PR Awards have named Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s The Doctor’s Tablet their Best Blog for 2015.

The competition was held by PR Daily, part of Ragan Communications. We are honored by this award and it’s a testament to the quality posts of our authors and our relationships with content-sharing partners such as KevinMD.com, the Huffington Post, MedPageToday and AAMC’s Wing of Zock that regularly republish our content and help extend its reach.

We want to thank the more than 140 authors who have contributed more than 300 posts to our blog since its launch in 2011. We also want to thank each of you, our readers, for your interest in and engagement with our content, and overall support and feedback. Finally, we are especially grateful to the competition judges for taking note of the blog’s “fresh content—all of it edited”—something the judges called “a rarity in the blogosphere.”
